The Orange Glo Wood Cleaner & Polish is the Orange Glo Company's flagship product. Made with pure orange oil, the polish works to bring out the natural beauty of your wood furnishings. The product is also touted as a multi-purpose cleaner, not just a wood polish, cleaner and restorer. We guess that this is done because of the cleaning versatility of the orange oil it contains. As a wood cleaner, polish and restorer, it is very effective. As a multi-purpose cleaner, it's lacking. For multi-purpose cleaning, Orange Clean Concentrate is by far a better product. We tested the Wood Cleaner & Polish on an oak coffee table in our living room. We took care to apply it to every nook, cranny and crevice. The cleaner & polish did effectively remove the dust, dirt and grease stains (we use the table to serve food) that had accumulated on the table. It also did lighten up a few minor scratches and left the table with a beautiful, natural shine. The one setback was a few water marks that had set in since we first bought the table. The water marks proved tough to remove during the first cleaning with the Orange Glo Wood Cleaner & Polish. Over time, however, and with repeated use of the cleaner & polish, the water marks did start to diminish. We've also noticed that with repeated use, the Orange Glo Wood Cleaner & Polish does help to repel dust, fingerprints and watermarks from the coffee table. As well, with repeated use, the table has developed a brilliant luster. This is a plus as it helps our table continue to appear brand new making it require less cleaning. The Orange Glo Wood Cleaner & Polish has a terrific orange scent which makes cleaning your wooden furniture pleasant. Talk about aroma therapy. ; ) Coincidentally, we also found it to be an excellent insect repellant and killer. Flies, gnats and other small insects have no chance if you zap 'em with even the smallest of sprays. As with any product, be sure to adhere to the manufacturer's instructions when using Orange Glo Wood Cleaner & Polish. |
