We were not very impressed with the Orange Clean Dishwashing Liquid. First, it's very pricey. We think you should get more bang for your buck when it comes to cleaning products. With 'bang' we mean something like making the product super concentrated.
Second, where are the suds? Where's the lather? Doing the dishes with this cleaner wasn't efficient. Did it get the dishes clean? To be fair, yes it did. The problem was that we had to lather and re-lather our sponge every 2 to 3 minutes. Of course, anyone who washes dishes regularly knows that your dish soap won't last very long if you have to constantly re-soap your sponge. It doesn't take much home economics to realize that this isn't very cost efficient.
On the good side, the soap wasn't harsh on my hands. This is cool because a lot of folks have sensitive skin. However, a dishwashing liquid's primary job is to clean the dishes (cut grease and grime, etc.). It should then be gentle on the hands.
The dishwashing liquid lacks power. You can expect the same cleaning potency from it as you would get from any generic 99-cent dish soap. This is a real shame coming from a company that makes exceptional products. We were so disappointed with it that we stopped carrying it on our site. Well, we all drop the ball sometimes now don't we?
Bottom line? You can do better with Dawn or Palmolive.
