Turn on your tv and you're likely to see an infomercial about the latest Oreck Vacuum to hit the market. Don't mistake the name 'classic' for old or antiquated, however. The Oreck XL Classic is anything but and packs mean punch. Next in line is the Oreck XL Deluxe Vacuum. Keeping in line with their standard of 'lightweight and powerful', the Deluxe boasts a 50% improvement in filtration. Coupled with it's Saniseal system to keep dirt locked in and the fact that you can load the vac's bag from the top, you can rest assured that the dirt you vacuum isn't being thrown back out into the air. Oreck even boasts that the Deluxe cleans the air as you vacuum. Hmmm... we don't necessarily doubt this, but if cleaner air is what you want, we highly recommend you get the Oreck Air Purifier. Yes, they make air purifiers too! The next of the Oreck Vacuums is the XL Ultra Upright 2-speed model. This one has to be the mother of all upright vacuums. Not only is it lightweight and powerful, but it includes the same hypo allergenic filtration system as the deluxe and more. It also boasts an user friendly handle and a neat little search light so you can see where you're vacuuming. Very cool in my opinion. But the most notable feature of the XL Ultra is it's 2 speed motor. Low speed for delicate carpets and rugs and High speed for some serious dust and dirt suction. The pricing on the Oreck Vacuums range from $299 to a hefty $499. However, you get so many bonuses with your vac that you actually wind up getting a steal for such a great quality vacuum.
